My name is Nadia and I work in care since 2007 and as registered care manager since 2011. I did various different roles and worked my way up. This helped me to understand the challenges my colleagues face on daily basis, the ups and downs and how to support them best so we can achieve our goal as team – to provide high quality care for our residents. And most importantly- every member of the team is equally important.
I managed residential, nursing and dementia homes. My focus has always been the wellbeing of our residents and staff. I would like my team to feel cared for, passionate and empowered to make a difference every day. Happy team, to me, means happy residents.
All I strive for is my residents to feel well, safe and live their best life whatever this might mean to them and to be able to share it with their loved ones. Taking time to learn each resident’s story and understanding who they are and what is important to them is key to delivering person centred care.
I am proud to be mummy of two gorgeous girls.
I also have two fur babies, Roxie and Zoro, show cocker spaniels.
I enjoy gardening and being outdoors. I love walking my dogs and running.
