Foster care and jewellery provide contrasting subject matter for evening events
Life as
a foster carer is the topic of the next popular evening event open to the
public at Fernhill House.
Local
resident Meg Farmer will be talking about how looking after ‘101 children’ has
been rewarding both for her – and for the young people who have shared her home
over the years.
The talk
is the latest in an eclectic mix of free evening events open to the public at
Fernhill House. Meg will be talking on Monday July 10th between 7pm
and 8.30pm – and all guests will be offered wine and nibbles.
The
following evening, July 11th,
sees a complete contrast in subject matter – with a local jewellery
specialist talking about her international travels on the hunt for unusual
stones.
The
evening also includes a display of end of line boutique clothes – with bubbles
and blinis on offer too.
The fun
kicks off at 6pm and runs until 8pm.
